Repair and Restoration Services
-- Most of my time is spent repairing
instruments in the violin family, from routine set-ups and adjustments
to more involved restoration projects. I cut bridges
and
soundposts, glue open seams, reset necks, fit pegs, repair cracks,
resurface and install fingerboards, etc., all with a high level of care
and precision. I view my committment to high standards and fine
work as an asset. I will
take the time necessary to help an instrument sound and play at its
optimal level.
Bow Rehair and Repair -- I rehair bows, using the highest quality horsehair available. I'm also a Coda Bow dealer and keep their line of vioin bows in stock. Their other models can be easily and promptly ordered. Strings and Accessories -- I keep in stock an assortment of strings, shoulder rests, rosin, violin pickups (I'm an L.R. Baggs dealer), and can order any accessory you might need for your instrument. If you're looking to purchase a new instrument, I have a selection of Samuel Shen violins which are excellent.
